Welcome to the OpenQuake documentation guide. This guide is a practical introduction for developers of OpenQuake. It explores the concepts behind OpenQuake, the framework for constructing an application, and the tools for developing, testing, and publishing software within the OpenQuake project.
The OpenQuake community uses GitHub as a web-based hosting service for it’s software development and version control. You can find the project’s code repository here . The community participates in public communication on Internet Relay Chat (IRC): irc.freenode.net (freenode network) #openquake, which offers real-time chat with other OpenQuake developers. The community also offers a public roadmap of development in the form of blueprints.
